When I was asked if I was available to do the day of coordination for a New Year’s Eve wedding I had to accept. Some might think it’s not a good idea to have a wedding on the Holiday, but it was the complete opposite. It gave McKenzie and Tony’s favorite people in the world a beautiful party filled with love to end the year and start anew.
The ceremony and reception were both held at the Evergreen Ballroom in Portland, Oregon. A gorgeous space to make their vision come to life.
They asked me to line up the ceremony in a circular rotation so that everyone could get a good view of them in the middle saying their vows. It was a beautiful set up adorned with flower arrangements made by Tony’s grandmother with love.
The room flip was flawless as my team and I pulled out tables and rearranged chairs. The table settings and linens were all provided by The Party Place rentals.
The couple was so graceful and kind to work with. Their love showed in all the details of the day, and in the way they connected with each other and with every guest that attended awaiting midnight.
